RC Dermatology's Des Moines - Ingersoll dermatology clinic gladly accepts Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial insurance plans. Please contact your health insurance provider to verify coverage prior to receiving service. You can do this by checking their website or calling the customer service telephone number on the back of your insurance card. If you do not have insurance, ask our staff about self-pay rates when scheduling your appointment. We will bill insurance as a courtesy and ask for updated information at the time of service. All patients are responsible for checking with their carrier for coverage prior to receiving service. Please bring your insurance card and a photo ID to your appointment.

Obehi is a dermatology-trained Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. She started her medical journey as an acute care nurse, working in the ER and trauma centers. In between her time working in the ER, she also worked as a pediatric nurse focusing on preventative care. She went on to obtain a doctorate degree as a family nurse practitioner. She completed dermatology fellowships with Dr. Love and Dr. Sabin at Iowa Dermatology Clinic and Christina Warren and Karen Hunke at RC Dermatology. While she is deeply fascinated with dermatology and how the skin is a reflection of so many internal diseases as a whole, she focuses on skin cancer prevention, skin of color, psoriasis, eczema, acne, viral and fungal skin infections, warts, allergy, and surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She is also a part-time clinical instructor of nursing at Grand View University. When Obehi isn’t at RC Dermatology, she loves to travel, watch comedy shows and spend time with her husband, three children and dog.
