Michaela Henneberry, DNP, ARNP, FNP-C

Michaela is a certified family nurse practitioner and dermatology-trained nurse practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from Mount Mercy University. Prior to joining RC Dermatology, she worked in perioperative nursing at an outpatient surgery center, where she developed strong procedural skills and a patient-centered approach to care.

Inspired by personal and family experiences with dermatologic conditions, Michaela pursued dermatology because of the meaningful impact skin health can have on confidence, comfort, and overall well-being. She has a special interest in acne management, skin cancer detection and prevention, and procedural dermatology. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her aussiedoodle, Axel.
