Faraaz Zafar, MD, FAAD
Dr. Faraaz Zafar is a highly skilled and dedicated dermatologist with extensive training in all aspects of skin care, including medical, surgical, cosmetic, oncologic and preventative dermatology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine, followed by a Transitional Year Internship at Gundersen Health System and a dermatology residency at Marshfield Clinic Health System.
Nurse Practitioner
Christina Warren, MSN, ARNP, FNP-C
Christina is a certified family nurse practitioner and dermatology-trained nurse practitioner. After earning her bachelor’s degree from Graceland University in Lamoni, she went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Clarkson College in Omaha, NE. She has over 20 years of dermatology experience under the guidance of board-certified dermatologist Dr. Charles Love.
Christina encourages consistent skin cancer screenings, education, and personalized care for patients of all ages, promoting early detection and timely intervention to protect overall skin health. Beyond skin cancer detection and treatment, Christina offers comprehensive dermatological care, ensuring healthy skin at all life stages.
Physician Assistant
Lauren Crawford, PA-C
Lauren is a certified physician assistant with specialized training in dermatology. She earned her undergraduate degree from Quincy University and her master’s degree from Stephens College. During her training, Lauren completed a six-week rotation and a three-month fellowship with Iowa Dermatology Clinic and RC Dermatology. She is also enrolled in the SDPA Fellowship Program.
Nurse Practitioner
Karen Hunke, MSN, ARNP, FNP-C, DCNP
Karen is a certified family nurse practitioner and dermatology certified nurse practitioner. She began nursing in 1985 as an RN and has worked in family practice and dermatology since then. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree in order to provide more advanced care to her patients and has been a dermatology-certified nurse practitioner since 2017. While providing the best dermatology services is her ultimate goal, she is especially interested in the care and treatment of psoriasis. When she isn’t at RC Dermatology, you can often find Karen traveling or listening to audio books.
