RC Dermatology's Altoona dermatology clinic is focused on your convenience ! Our neighborhood clinics is conveniently located to serve you better and are open five days a week. Our staff understands that your time is valuable, and we pride ourselves on prompt, courteous service. We can even schedule an appointment for you the same day that you call! New patients are welcome! We gladly accept Medicare, Medicaid, Title XIX and most major commercial insurance plans. Please contact your health insurance provider to verify coverage and acceptance prior to receiving service. You can do this by checking their website or by calling the customer service telephone number on the back of your insurance card. If you do not have insurance, ask our staff about self-pay rates when scheduling your appointment. We will bill insurance as a courtesy and ask for updated information at time of service. All patients are responsible for checking with their carrier for coverage prior to receiving service. Please bring your insurance card and a photo ID to your appointment.

Gail is a certified family nurse practitioner and dermatology-trained nurse practitioner providing of conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails for the entire family. After earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa, she went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Clarkson College in Omaha, NE. She has completed an extensive dermatology fellowship under the guidance of board-certified dermatologist Charles Love, M.D. at Iowa Dermatology Clinic and various Radiant Complexions Dermatology clinics throughout central Iowa. She is committed to providing effective dermatology treatments including medical, anti-aging and cosmetic procedures to help patients look and feel their best.
