New Patients are welcome at our Ankeny - South dermatology clinic! Radiant Complexions welcomes new patients, including referrals. We are proud to be able to offer same-day or next-day appointments when requested and offer treatment in a small, private clinic setting. Our most commonly received insurance plans include AARP, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, CIGNA, Coventry, Health Alliance, Humana, Iowa Medicaid, Medicare, Railroad Medicare, TRICARE, United Health Care. If a particular carrier is not listed, please contact your insurance carrier or our billing office at (515) 226-3116. We will bill insurance as a courtesy and ask for updated information at time of service. All patients are responsible for checking with their carrier for coverage prior to receiving service.

Karen is a certified family nurse practitioner and dermatology certified nurse practitioner. She began nursing in 1985 as an RN and has worked in family practice and dermatology since then. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree in order to provide more advanced care to her patients and has been a dermatology-certified nurse practitioner since 2017. While providing the best dermatology services is her ultimate goal, she is especially interested in the care and treatment of psoriasis. When she isn’t at RC Dermatology, you can often find Karen traveling or listening to audio books.
