Description
New patients are welcome at RC Dermatology's South Des Moines dermatology clinic! We gladly accept Medicare, Medicaid, Title IXX and most major commercial insurance plans. Please contact your health insurance provider to verify coverage and acceptance prior to receiving service. You can do this by checking their website or by calling the customer service telephone number on the back of your insurance card. If you do not have insurance, ask our staff about self-pay rates when scheduling your appointment. We will bill insurance as a courtesy and ask for updated information at time of service. All patients are responsible for checking with their carrier for coverage prior to receiving service. Please bring your insurance card and a photo ID to your appointment.

Rodney is a certified family nurse practitioner and a dermatology certified nurse practitioner. He started in nursing in 2006 as a CNA, and after completing his nurse practitioner training in 2018, he started in the field of dermatology. He also enjoyed a 3-month fellowship with RC Dermatology’s Dr. Love. Along with an aptitude and love for solving complex cases, he’s passionate about making sure everyone is regularly screened for skin cancer. With all the recent medical advances in multiple disease states, he’s especially excited to see what the near future holds for dermatology. When Rodney is not at RC Dermatology, you can find him hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
