Heidi is a certified family nurse practitioner and dermatology certified nurse practitioner. Prior to joining RC Dermatology nine years ago, she was an RN at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines for eight years. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree and completed a fellowship under RC Dermatology’s Dr. Love. She originally joined the medical field wanting to make a positive impact on patient's lives after witnessing a close family member struggle with health complications. Now, with a focus on medical dermatology, Heidi is continuously motivated by the constant medical advances and research that improves patient care and quality of life. When she isn’t at RC Dermatology, Heidi enjoys showing horses with her two daughters, cheering on her son at sporting events and gardening.
